Bargaining Bulletin #20

Final Agreement for ratification: Ratification vote planned for 18 to 20 December

Dear members:

The bargaining committees agreed on the "memorandum of settlement" agreement today. The agreement, which you can see by clicking this link, sets out the amendments we described in bargaining bulletin #19 on 13 December.

As we wrote on Wednesday, we think this is a good deal, and the CFA bargaining committee recommends that you ratify it.

On Monday, 18 December, we will write to your CapU e-mail address with a link you can use to vote securely. The vote will be open for two days, until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 20 December.

As soon as the agreement is ratified by our members, the CapU board, and the B.C. government, the agreement will take effect, and we will begin to receive our new wages and benefits, including retro payment for the period from April 2022 to now.

In solidarity,

Bargaining Committee members Tim Acton, Doug Alards-Tomalin, Eduardo Azmitia, Michael Begg, and FPSE representative Monica Staff
